Lynne's story and the mission of the painting of, "Prince of Peace"

I was born in Mass. in 1953, and when I was 8 years old my family moved to Utah for 3 years where my baby sister was born, I had 4 brothers already.  We then moved to Carson City, Nev. where I graduated from High School.  I attended  the University of Reno, Nevada and then, under an art scholarship, attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Before I went to B.Y.U.,  in 1973, I was in a major car accident that happened in Wyoming  when I was 20 years old.  I was transferred to the St. lukes Hospital in Denver, Colorado and was in traction for 2 months, due to 5 major pelvic fractures, resulting from our Jeep Wagoner ending up on top of me.  I knew it was a miracle I was still alive and also a miracle to learn to walk again.

While I was in the hospital,  2 Missionary Elders, from the (LDS) "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day  Saints",  came to visit me and challenged me to read the "Book of  Mormon", which I did when I returned home to Carson City.  While I was reading this Book, that talked about an ancient civilization that came over to the America's in 600 B.C. and inhabited it until 400 A.D., I was given a very powerful and strong witness that this Book was true.  It spoke of Christ's visit to the people in America soon after His resurrection.  With the Bible, the "Book of Mormon" became another witness of Jesus Christ for me.

In 1975-1977, I served an LDS mission for the Colorado-Denver Mission.  It was in that same mission that  the Missionary Elders had first given me a copy of the "Book of Mormon" 2 years earlier. I was grateful to serve there and had great faith promoting experiences.  After my mission, while I was attending B.Y.U., I had the opportunity to teach at the (MTC) Missionary Training Center in Provo, from 1979-1981.  I absolutely loved the missionaries I taught.  They have a special place in my heart.

Dec.,1982, I was sealed to my husband Don in the Jordan River Temple in Utah. 5 years later I had my 1st baby girl, and two other girls followed later.  I love my children, they are my world.  Because of our closeness I even home schooled them for a time.  I lived in Provo for many years and now reside in Santaquin, Utah with my husband and family.  Because of the counsel of  my  leaders in my church, I believe very strongly in being prepared temporally and spiritually for when times get harder as we get closer to our Savior's return.  I am trying to be self-reliant in every way which includes learning to grow a garden.

Because of my strong faith in Jesus Christ, the painting of "Prince of Peace" came to be. I know it was a commission from the Lord.  The mission of this painting is to have prints sent throughout the world.  I give them out freely and only accept donations to help with the cost of printing.  4,500 prints have already been given out throughout the USA and many parts of the world with the help of family, friends, acquaintances and missionaries.  I now have 7,000 more prints to give out this coming year.  Due to my limited funds at this time, if any one would like to be a part of this mission, any small donation is greatly appreciated.  I want to thank all those who have contributed in the past, I know you will be greatly blessed.

My goal  in the future is to have the means to keep this mission going.  I was led recently to a company called Kyani.  It is a health and wellness product that will help people facing all kinds of health challenges and  serious illnesses. A lot of medical and scientific research has been done concerning the products. Kyani  has helped  with diabetes, Alzheimers, Parkinsons disease, arthritis, fibromalygia, tumors, and many more. I am now apart of this great opportunity to not only bless the lives of others with better health, but to become financially secure.  I am so happy with this new product and I have already seen good results in my own life and in the lives of others.  To learn more, go to: Kyanigiftofwellness.kyani.net and trykyani.com.  Let me know what you think.  I know the Lord has opened this door for me to help others, and I am grateful for that.

If you would like to be a part of the mission for the Savior's prints to be sent  throughout the world, I am looking for sponsors and anyone willing to make any contribution or donation. Call me at (801)361-3453.

  2. My dear sister,
Few months ago I had the great opportunity to meet you and hear from your experiences and your great testimony of the Savior. I was serving on Temple Square at this time. I received a beautiful copy of your painting that I rejoiced looking and pondering about. I've made a translation in French of your testimony (the one on the back of your painting print), hoping it will serve and bless those around us.

Please, let me know what is your email address and I will send it to you!!

    Love,
    Sister Casagrande

  5. You gave Christ demon eyes, this is awful. Christ's eyes will be filled with love, compassion, kindness, acceptance, light.
You made Him look like the Green River Killer instead & it's a terrible disrespect to the Lord
